Well I've completed the illustration from last post. As you can see above, it came really far from the black & white version. That tends to be the case when I'm developing new art, half the ideas pop up as I'm working in the final art stage. Here's a close-up:
The aurora (northern lights) were tricky & took a few good hours, but I finally got them just right. I guess it takes practice. Practice: That's what art is all about (and I tell my kid this so often, to her I must sound like a broken record =).
