So it's that time of year again. The wait. No longer have 21 hours of daylight (unfortunately) but don't yet have 21 hours of darkness (or 60 below temps). Seems in Alaska, you sort of skip Halloween. Because, by Halloween, there's snow on the ground & it's too cold to wear only a costume. What's the point of a costume if there's a coat covering it? So you go from Labor Day into Thanksgiving & Christmas. Which is a shame, because I love Halloween!
