Jungle Babies - Inspired by Life

Did you ever look outside at midnight and mistaken it for daylight? Funny as it may sound, this happened to me a few weeks ago - the moon outside my window was so bright it looked like the sun hadn't set yet! I could see all of the details of the woods behind my house, and the mountains far behind.

And that's what inspired my newest piece:
With Mother's Day approaching (and this week's Illustration Friday topic), this piece can also pay "Homage" to moms everywhere! It even includes some sibling rivalry, even if it crosses species. :) There's nothing like a ticked off little baby bear!

This illustration literally took weeks to complete due to all the detail, and the size of the file. :) But oh well - the joy of creating art!

Oh that is too cute! I love te baby's expression and how he's pointing to the mother bear like "hey she doesn't look like me!"
