This week's Illustration Friday topic is "refresh".

Geezersaurus has a lemonade to stay refreshed on a hot summer day.

I created this as a greeting card for various occasions.

Speaking of hot summers, we've had temperature in the high 80's in Alaska (I'm practically melting away here). How hot - or cold - is it where you live?

Illustration Friday: Shades

This week's Illustration Friday topic is: Shades. This lucky dinosaur wore shades on his tropical vacation.

Side note: I'm rather jealous of this dinosaur. It may be the first day of Spring, but I woke up to below zero temperatures today. Not cool! (In fact, I'd say that's more on the cold side.)

In other news: Now that my new baby is getting a bit more sleep at night (key words: a bit more =), I am starting to schedule new illustration projects. I've recently expanded my studio and will have new updates and work to show in the coming weeks, so please stay tuned!

Illustration Friday: Separated

This is a cute little card design I created for general romantic occasions, Valentine's Day and Anniversaries. The receiver is usually an adult, but apparently lots of adults also appreciate cute and cuddly!

The Royal Teddy

This week's Illustration Friday topic is "Toy", which is perfect because I just finished this piece which I am using on various greeting cards! The teddy bear (in my opinion) has got to be the most popular toy in the world. Just about every kid has had one. How many did/do you have? I've had a few thousand. Well, it sure felt that way when there was no room left for me on my bed!

Star Gazing

This week's Illustration Friday topic is "Star Gazing".

Alaska's a great place for this, as I've learned Friday night. Saw an amazing meteor shower which included a HUGE turquoise meteor that flew by my window! It's not often I'm actually happy about being up at 1:30 in the morning, but Friday it really paid off! Now if only the moon were as big, the polar bears were around and the aurora were out, that would've made it even more awesome! =)

Fearless

This week's Illustration Friday topic is "fearless". Sick of being plagued by itchy little fleas, Marty the sheepdog fearlessly hopped in the bath.
